There are two possibilities to submit samples to CCG (Center for Chemical Genetics)

  1. Solution (preferential)
    1. All compounds should be preferentially submitted in solution, dissolved in DMSO or H2O and placed in 96 well plates and sealed.
    2. Concetration of the solution should be 10 mmol/L (i.e. 0.01 mol/L)
    3. Volume of the solution should be 250 - 1000 µL
    4. The last column of the plate (i.e. wells labeled A12-H12) must be left empty (i.e. there can be max 88 samples per plate)
    5. Recommended plates: Nunc 260252 (96 DeepWell Round Bottom Plate, Low Profile, Non Strile, PP 5/SL; www.nuncbrand.com).
For barcoded samples use Thermo Scientific 3741 (Matrix 1.0 ml, 2D barcoded, V bottom, w/caps, ScrewTop tubes in Latch Rack case, 96 tubes/case. http://www.thermoscientific.com)
    6. Recommended seal tape: Costar 6570 (Thermowell Sealing Tape For 96 Well Plates Aluminum 100/Pack, Non-Sterile; www.scienceproducts.corning.com)
    7. Recommended DMSO: Sigma-Aldrich 41640 (DMSO puriss. p.a., ACS reagent http://sigmaaldrich.com)
  2. Solid (for number of samples less than 50)
    1. The amount of the sample (placed in a glass vial) should be around 1 mg (weighted exactly with precission 0.1 mg), so that after dissolving in 250-1000 µl the concentration will be 10 mmol/L

Information about the samples (structures and/or molecular weight, concentration, plate position, ...) must be submitted in the recommended format.
